The Difference between Love & Like

Love and Like, both starts with ‘L’ & ends with ‘E’, both has four letters..

But, both love & like have different significance and feelings.

Love blossoms from the eyes,

But the feeling of like starts from ears…

In front of the person you like, you smile,

But, In front of the person you love, you blush…

The person you love beats in your heart every second,

But, you only think about the person you like once in a while…

Love has no ends, even after death…

But like may change even when you’re alive…

When the one who you love cries, u cry as well,

But when the one who you like cries, you just comfort them…

When you’re with the person you love, years feel like days…

But when you with the person you like, days seem another beautiful day only..

If the person who you love is going to die, you want to die as well….

But when the person who you like is going to die, you will only spend the whole day with them…

Golden Globe Awards...Rise of Underdogs

On January 11 2009 The 66th Golden globe awards was broadcast from Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. The live telecast was watched by millions of movie buffs (myself) & TV series followers. As I were watching it at my friend's house in JB, (Johore Bahru, the nearest state to Singapore) we didn't expect that the Underdogs from the nominees list could win couple of Globes on that sensational night.

The 66th Golden globe awards witnessed the winning of Slumdog Millionaire which grabbed 4 Golden Globes. British acclaimed director, Danny Boyle takes pride for portraying this underdog tale. I watched few glimpses of the movie which was shown during the awards ceremony, & i find myself captivated to the story. The story is about a young Indian guy from the streets of Mumbai who participated in the India's version of Who Wants to be A Millionaire TV game show.

The protagonist exceeds the expectation, but arrested by police on suspicion of cheating. The story goes from here & director Danny Boyle used his remarkable directing skills on delivering Jamal's (protagonist) upbringing & love memoirs in poverty driven Mumbai. Though I have not yet watch this movie but my artistic feelings tell me that Slumdog Millionaire is a wonderfully woven story that has been expertly edited. Kudos for the whole team for producing this wonderful underdog tale. This shows that there are exceptional skills from Indian Cinema that waiting to be explored. Hopefully Slumdog Millionaire can be a stepping stone to bring better cinematographic
experience from Indian Cinema Industry. Hopefully (with a big H) the movie will be shown in Malaysian cinemas so that I can catch It on big screens.

~Thank you for reading~

true story.....

More than a year has passed since I heard this real story. I rather felt it and put myself on the protagonist’s place to go through how he would have felt. Now, I don’t know how long it took him to recover, but my gut feelings do tell me that he has moved on & his painful memories are reduced to ashes.

This is a story about a guy & a girl. He saw her, became friend with her & without knowing fell for her because he simply thought she was sent by God for him. She is so unique…smart…kind…feminine…& above all he likes her for what she is. He thought she is his dream girl. He doesn’t know how to tell & scared to tell her his feelings since he thought she is not interested in love. He kept his feelings to himself, buried deeply inside his wretched heart. He made her gifts not to attract her or make her love him, but he felt like giving her…he helped her on certain things not with any purposes or intentions but just wanted to help her. He did all those just to get an opportunity to talk with her. Talking with her & seeing her big bright eyes made him felt like he is in heaven & forget all worries if she is with him.

He was born lonely, not that he had no parents or friend, but this girl was something else and he thought may be she could bring more happiness to his murky life, like a candle that give brightness to a dark room... he wanted her to be his beloved wife…to wipe his tears of past…like an angel sent by God to guide a lost or stranded soul. He wants her love, her affection, her motivation, her guidance; He just wants that girl to be with him. He wants her to be not only as a wife… but as a friend, who supports, as a sister who motivates and as a mother who encourages.

But everything he dreamed was shattered into pieces whenhe realized that she belongs to some one else. There is no place for him in her small heart. One day he saw her with another guy & everything crept into darkness. Though he saw her with another guy and he realized that it is pointless to confess his feelings to her, but he did. Now the pain is even worse.

He knows that love is something that cannot be forced…love is something divine; we cannot see but only can feel it. He came to senses that she only saw him as a normal guy & he was nothing for her but for him she is everything. Though finally he realized that she is not destined to be with him, but the pain that she gave him after confessing is worse. She now accused him of being a bad person, just because he confessed to her. Herperception about him changed…she no longer has respect for him…she has started to HATE him…all this because he loves her???? Whom to be blamed here???? Who is guilty or wrong??? And who is innocent here??? Is it the guy’s fault to fall for her without knowing the truth or is the girl wrong to HATE him after knowing that heloves her…or is it fate to be blamed for all these.

Today I came back from Singapore after a short vacation. Now I’m sitting in front of my PC analyzing this true story which might have happened one year ago. Hmmm I don’t know what lies ahead in that guy’s life, but I knew few things from that story. Everything happens for a reason & time is the best remedy to cure some psychological scars. Hope you guys enjoy reading it and please. Finally, I would like to put a quote that suits his story:

The Journey Begins...

Here I am sitting in front of my computer wondering what to spit. First of all bit of introduction: I blog by the name alpha guy-sageblogger. It sounded rather cool. I live in Malaysia. Every thing happens so fast since the last 2 years. It feels like yesterday I graduated from university, but 2 years has passed. My blogs will be in English, Malay & Tamil. So I believe those who have mastery in one of those languages can visit my blog.

Actually I'm new to this blogging area, so I'm just familiarizing myself with this whole blogging thing. I have great interest in writing but blogging is something totaly new for me & I haven't tried my writing skills seriously. So if there are any mistakes (though i will check before posting) please forgive. The sole reason why I stepped into blogging is that I want to share so many great ideas with other human beings from different culture, race, religion etc.

When it comes to what type of ideas or articles that I publish, everything depends on what captures my mind and sole. Basically I like to talk with my friends about movies, health & nutrition, general issues, musics, hobbies, studies, meditation and religion. Though I follow the teachings of hinduism but I'm not a fanatic religionist (hope this word exist) & open to brotherhood among human beings.

Reading has been my hobby since I was small. Whenever there is an interesting topic that would benefit all of us or trigger the neuron cells, I will post it. Since I'm new to blogging I hope people are willing to guide me. Last but not least thanks for reading.
